They can be also be installed when retrofitting or maintaining equipment, and sealing certificates are available on request, according to Essex-based distributor Foremost, which is stocking the product range.

Several strain relief plates are available for various mounting methods, up to clamps and cleats for large-diameter cables.

Icotek also provides solutions for EMC/EMI cable earthing. “Icotek SKL shield clamps are made for reliable and effective earthing of high frequency interferences and allow safe operation of machinery and equipment,” said Foremost.

“Icotek cable gland products offer rugged, simple to use cable and pneumatic access for terminated or unterminated cables for both site equipment and fixed installations,” said Foremost sales director Alan Vincent.

The photo example is a KEL-ER 24 cable entry frame with ingress rated at IP65 and NEMA type 4X.

The frame is 147 x 58mm and it works for cables diameters between 1 to 16mm (KT 1 – 15) and 16 to 35mm (KT 16 – 34).

KEL-ER 24 frame matches exactly the cut-out dimensions for 24-pin standard industrial connectors,” according to Icotek. “Cable grommets are placed into compartments and are securely fixed to the frame during assembly. A flat rubber gasket is included in the shipment.”
