Southern Manufacturing & Electronics show preview: Ride along

The company’s SnapUI interface has been rebuilt for the QNX platform.

A demonstration shows QNX on an iMX6 platform running the user interface, for its accelerated OpenGL graphics framework.

There will be a 3D-printed Alpine cable car which houses a 360° camera, with architecture built by the company.

This will send data to a PC, and then display stitched-together footage.

It also has an embedded motor control unit and OpenGL image processing to display a full stitched image in realtime on an i.MX8 embedded system.

Consultants will also share their experience in developing products for the electric vehicle charging market.

The company recently began a next‑generation vehicle-to-grid project to develop an OCPP (open charge point protocol) module and companion Android app.
